Ross Wells Park – Moose Jaw
Thursday, July 31 – First pitch at 7:05 PM
As the regular season winds down, the Moose Jaw Miller Express return to Ross Wells Park tonight to take on the Weyburn Beavers in WCBL action. With just two home dates remaining, every pitch counts as the playoff push continues.
Moose Jaw enters the night with momentum on their side and an offense that’s clicking. William Edwards (.346 AVG, 9 HR, 59 RBI) and Austin Gurney (.346 AVG, 54 RBI) continue to anchor the lineup, while Thomas Soto (.337 AVG) brings speed and discipline with a team-leading 66 runs and 43 walks. The Millers are batting .292 as a team and have shown the ability to capitalize in big moments.
On the mound, look for Rodolfo Guardiola (4-1, 4.13 ERA) or Nathan Pisio (2.45 ERA) to handle duties against a Beavers offense batting .258 on the season. Moose Jaw’s pitching staff will aim to limit damage from Weyburn’s top hitters like Ryan Dauphinee (.325 AVG, 41 RBI) and Trevor Dale (7 HR).
Tonight is also Rosie’s on River Thirsty Thursday, so fans can enjoy cold drinks, a great crowd, and competitive baseball under the lights.
Don’t forget:
