MOOSE JAW, SK – The Moose Jaw Miller Express will be proudly represented at the 2026 Western Canadian Baseball League All-Star Weekend, with six players earning the honour of being named East Division All-Stars.

  • Westin Walls – RHP
  • Jacob Glazener – LHP
  • Nathan Pisio – RHP
  • Chris Franks – OF
  • Thomas Soto – INF
  • William Edwards – OF

The six selections are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and outstanding performances these players have delivered throughout the 2026 season. Moose Jaw’s strong showing among the league’s elite reflects both the individual talent on the roster and the success the club has enjoyed during the summer.

Dominating on the Mound

The Miller Express pitching staff has been anchored by veteran Westin Walls, who has established himself as one of the WCBL’s premier starters. Through the first half of the season, Walls has recorded 66 strikeouts in 59.2 innings, posting a 3.77 ERA while helping Moose Jaw remain among the East Division contenders.

Joining him is left-hander Jacob Glazener, whose swing-and-miss ability has made him one of the league’s toughest pitchers. Glazener has struck out 57 batters in 48.2 innings, earning seven victories while consistently giving the Millers a chance to win every time he takes the ball.

Making the All-Star team for the first time is Moose Jaw product Nathan Pisio. The local right-hander has impressed in relief, posting a stellar 2.20 ERA while showcasing poise beyond his years.

Offensive Firepower

At the plate, the Miller Express will send three of the WCBL’s most dangerous hitters.

Chris Franks has been a catalyst all season, batting .367 with 51 hits, 41 RBIs, 39 runs scored, four home runs, four triples, 11 doubles and 13 stolen bases.

Thomas Soto has once again proven to be one of the league’s most dynamic players. The switch-hitting infielder is batting .348, leading the team with 55 hits, 53 runs scored and 38 stolen bases, while providing outstanding defense in the infield.

Australian outfielder William Edwards continues to be one of the league’s most consistent run producers, hitting .333 with 51 hits, 38 RBIs and 41 runs scored, giving Moose Jaw another dangerous bat in the middle of the lineup.

A Well-Deserved Honour

The 2026 WCBL All-Star Weekend takes place July 18-19 at NexGen Patch at Cairns Field in Saskatoon. For the first time in league history, the event expands into a full weekend featuring skills competitions, the Home Run Derby and the WCBL All-Star Game, celebrating the league’s top talent.

Congratulations to Westin Walls, Jacob Glazener, Nathan Pisio, Chris Franks, Thomas Soto, and William Edwards on this outstanding achievement. The entire Miller Express organization and the City of Moose Jaw are proud to see these six players represent the club on one of the biggest stages in the Western Canadian Baseball League.
