The Moose Jaw Miller Express organization would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the incredible host families who have played such an important role throughout the 2026 Western Canadian Baseball League season.

While fans see the excitement on the field each night at Ross Wells Park, much of what makes our organization successful happens away from the diamond. Our host families open their homes and their hearts to players from across Canada, the United States, and beyond, providing them with a welcoming place to live while they pursue their passion for baseball.

For many of our players, Moose Jaw becomes a second home because of the kindness, generosity, and support shown by these families. They provide far more than a bedroom and a meal—they offer encouragement, friendship, guidance, and a family atmosphere that allows our athletes to focus on competing and representing our community with pride.

The relationships built between players and host families often last well beyond a single summer, creating lifelong friendships and memories that extend far beyond the baseball season.

Simply put, the Miller Express could not operate without the commitment of our host families. They are an essential part of our organization and a key reason why Moose Jaw continues to be one of the premier destinations in the WCBL.

We would also like to recognize and sincerely thank Ryan and Lindsey Stephenson, whose dedication as our Host Family Coordinators has been instrumental to another successful season. Their countless hours spent recruiting host families, coordinating placements, supporting both players and families, and ensuring everyone has a positive experience often goes unnoticed, but it is invaluable to our organization.

On behalf of our players, coaches, staff, volunteers, board of directors, sponsors, and fans, thank you to every host family for your generosity, your hospitality, and for making the Miller Express feel like one big family.
