MOOSE JAW, SK – The Moose Jaw Miller Express have climbed to the top of the Western Canadian Baseball League’s East Division standings, sitting alone in first place with a 29-11 record and a remarkable 11-game winning streak.
The Millers’ recent surge has been fueled by outstanding performances on both sides of the ball. Moose Jaw has outscored its opponents 357-259, good for a +98 run differential, while posting a perfect 10-0 record over its last 10 games. The club now holds a one-game lead over the Saskatoon Berries as the race for the East Division title heats up.
The success has been built on a balanced lineup that continues to produce offensively while the pitching staff has consistently delivered quality outings. Every night, different players have stepped up, showcasing the depth and determination that has become the hallmark of this year’s Miller Express squad.
The support from Miller Nation has also played a major role throughout the season. Ross Wells Park has been one of the toughest places for visiting teams to play, with fans creating an electric atmosphere every time the black and gold take the field.
While reaching first place is an important milestone, the focus inside the clubhouse remains on finishing strong. With plenty of baseball still to be played, every game carries significance as the Millers look to secure home-field advantage and build momentum heading into the WCBL playoffs.
The Moose Jaw Miller Express would like to thank all of our fans, sponsors, volunteers, billets, and community supporters for helping make this season so special. Your support continues to drive this team forward.
The Millers are in first—but the job isn’t finished.
Let’s keep packing Ross Wells Park and cheering on your first-place Moose Jaw Miller Express!
