MOOSE JAW, SK – The Moose Jaw Miller Express will have a major presence at the 2026 Western Canadian Baseball League All-Star Weekend as six players have been selected to represent the East Division in one of the league’s premier events.
Heading to Saskatoon this weekend are:
- Westin Walls – RHP
- Jacob Glazener – LHP
- Nathan Pisio – RHP
- Chris Franks – CF
- Thomas Soto – SS
- William Edwards – DH
The six All-Star selections are a reflection of the outstanding season the Miller Express have put together and the individual performances these players have delivered throughout the summer.
Miller Express Well Represented
The East Division roster features three Miller Express position players and three pitchers.
Chris Franks will also showcase his power at Saturday night’s WCBL Home Run Derby, where he will compete against the league’s top sluggers for the Derby title.
Thomas Soto has earned the starting nod at shortstop after another exceptional season, while William Edwards was selected for East Division’s All–Star team for his on-field play and his hatting capabilities.
On the mound, Westin Walls and Jacob Glazener were both selected to the East Division pitching staff after leading the Express rotation for much of the season, while Moose Jaw’s own Nathan Pisio has earned his All-Star selection thanks to an outstanding campaign out of the bullpen.
A Full Weekend of Events
The 2026 WCBL All-Star Weekend takes place at NexGen Patch at Cairns Field in Saskatoon and features two full days of baseball and entertainment.
Saturday, July 18
The festivities begin Saturday afternoon with a variety of fan-friendly events.
- 3:30 p.m. – Gates Open
- 4:00 p.m. – Bunt Competition
- Miller Express representative: Thomas Soto
- 5:00 p.m. – Little League Home Run Derby
- 6:00 p.m. – WCBL Home Run Derby
- Miller Express representative: Chris Franks
- 7:45 p.m. – Jordyn Pollard Concert
Sunday, July 19
The weekend wraps up with the league’s showcase event.
- 11:30 a.m. – Gates Open
- 1:00 p.m. – 2026 WCBL All-Star Game
Fans are invited to stick around after the game for an on-field autograph session, giving everyone an opportunity to meet many of the league’s biggest stars.
