Dear Moose Jaw Miller Express Fans and Family:
“You will face many defeats in life (baseball), but never let yourself be defeated”….somewhat sums up the end of the Miller Express 2024 season and the start of 2025. Although it was a heartbreak loss in the final game (Game 3) of the Western Canadian Baseball League Championship, we are empowered by all that happened in 2024 and excited about what the future holds for next year.
14,072 Fans in 2024: Thank you for coming to all of our games, some of our games, or even just one of our games. We appreciate the energy, the excitement, the loud cheering, and even the odd “nod of the head golf clap” when the visiting team also made a good play. Your passion and enthusiasm for baseball creates an atmosphere that inspires our players to give their all. We are incredibly fortunate to have fans who truly embody the spirit of the Moose Jaw Miller Express.
20+ Volunteers in 2024: Your hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed. From setting up the park, to selling tickets, merchandise, food, beverages, and a whole lot more – thank you for your time, effort, and commitment to making each game day a success. You are the heartbeat of our organization.
30+ Billet and Player Families in 2024: We have said this numerous times before – this organization starts with a “Home”. Thank you to you and your families for opening up your homes these last few months. We are very grateful to what you do for our players, the time and energy you spend, your commitment and love to creating amazing memories that will last a life time. A special thank you to our billet coordinators Ryan & Lindsey Stephenson and the countless hours they have put in to making sure everyone is looked after.
35+ Players in 2024 “Cardiac Kids”: No matter the score, no matter the inning, no matter where we were playing – the fans learned that we could and would win at any moment of the game. You’ve shown immense talent, dedication, and heart throughout the season. Thank you for your perseverance, teamwork, and for making our community proud. We look forward to watching your continued growth and success back in College and in the seasons to come.
